let's start with last friday. now that was interesting. :o) we went to our football game and it was lightly raining and we thought, "oh, no big deal". so then we're going out, slightly wet, to do our show, and when we start marching in, it starts really raining. mud. fun. so we did our show, and surprisingly, no one slipped! and then, in the last minute of the game, god said let there be rain™. and there was rain. and there was a wet band. we all took off our band shoes and literally dumped water out of them. nothing survived that rain - everything the band brought, sitting in the band hall draped over chairs and music stands, is now drying.

so that brings us to saturday. i woke up early, got in the car, and we drove to san antonio for my sister's girl scout bridging ceremony. for all of you that don't know what that is, girl scouts works differently than boy scouts - the troop advances together, instead of each person earning ranks on their own. when the troop crosses from one rank to the next, it's called "bridging". my sister's troop happened to be bridging from juniors to cadettes. anyway, so we got there at lunch time, ate with the whole troop on the riverwalk, and had some ceremonial stuff. then we went off sightseeing, where i bought some really cool stuff, including a hand-made blown-glass longhorn *grins* and the two towers and the return of the king (the last two books in the lord of the rings trilogy), and i got a mold of my hand (doing the "hook 'em" sign, of course) done in wax. :o) so we stayed in a hotel blah blah stuff stuff yeah.

morning. the sunlight pierces my eyelids like a sword through my heart. not really, but i'm in a strange mood. anyway, so it was time to get up. i ate the continental breakfast™ and survived! then we we to sea world!! sea world == lots of fun. i got to feed and pet dolphins and stuff, which, of course, was really really awesome. :o) and i got splashed and wet. so after sea world, we drove home. which brings me to this point. i need sleep, because i have school tomorrow. ::mutters under breath::

hmm.... i can't decide if today was a good day or a bad day. i completely forgot about the speech i was supposed to write for speech class, but that's okay. a lot of people did. things should never be due on a monday. oh yeah, i forgot to bring back my emergency card information to the school so the assistant principal had a little talk with me today and i was threatened with a detention. lol. so i have that all signed and ready to go for tomorrow. i need to do my geometry homework, but i don't feel like it. *whines*

i have decided to set a goal for myself. that goal is finishing cowd.net, getting paid, and buying my new computer by my birthday so i have it use for my lan party. does that sound like a good goal? i thought so too. :op

well... not much happened yesterday or today. today was my first day off of band practice in a long time so i came home and actually got to be alone before other people came home for once. :o) oh yeah, some committee is making our school district teach us about stuff. so today we went to homeroom class and learned all about suicide. yippee. ::rolleyes:: i presented my speech about some nasa spaceflight or something. i don't remember what i said but the teacher seemed to like it, so i guess that's all that counts. :o) oh well, that's all i can think to say, so i'll shut up now. :o)

marching band has caused me much wetness. today we were out practicing (for our competition tomorrow... eek!) and it started raining, so mrs. beatty told us to go inside. it started raining harder as we walked back, and just as soon as i got inside the building, the clouds ran away, the rain stopped, and the sun came out. how wonderful is that? :op

oh yeah, mike, since i know you're stalking me and reading this and all, could you pretty please get on aim? :o)

i will now demonstrate my advanced spanish skillz i learned in school today. *ahem* ¿a qué hora es el partido de fútbol norteamericano?

well, yesterday we had a football game to play at. and we lost, of course, making us 2-4 for the season. :op afterward, we had our first competition! we got third out of four bands in our division, but i'm not disappointed at all, for 2 reasons. 1) they told us that this was the best we've ever done our show, and 2) we beat creek. :od i also asked my di how hard our show is, comparitively, to other shows he's done (since he's a senior), and he said that this was by far the hardest show he's done. we didn't get home until after midnight, but it was a great day. one girl brought a trashy romance novel on the bus that her sax buddy had given her, so we had story time. somehow, the book incorporated a love fest between a guy, his lover, her mom, dad, sister, aunt, and daughter, and something about a frog. it was a little disturbing. :op anyway, i've been working on cowd.net and it's coming along nicely. i only need the multimedia/script/reviews/collectibles etc. pages from mike so i can start working on them. :o)

hmm... today was not interesting.

well, we got all superior ratings at contest!!! sweepstakes baby! lol. i'm proud of us. anyway, i went to the church picnic tonight and i thought it was really gonna suck but then they put me to work painting faces and it was a lot of fun. school tomorrow though... bleh.

i want to redo the design of my blog, but i can't seem to do anything i like... if anyone has any suggestions, i'd be quite greatful for them. i want it to be simpler, and not like in four frames or something, like this one.

anyway, i stayed home from school today because i felt really yucky yesterday. today i'm just kind of headachy and disoriented feeling. ::goes to take some asprin:: maybe it's anthrax or something. so today i played with my new computer that greg gave me for my birthday(!). it's a p2 233. so much fun to play with. :o) i'm gonna be taking it apart soon to use some of the pieces for my new system i'm building.

i need to plan my birthday party... i guess i'm having a lan/sleepover party a week from friday if there's no football game i have to go to... ::checks calendar:: ...which there is. drat. well, we'll see. i need food, my stomach is hurting.

it's getting closer!! no more being 14! yay! anyway...

last night was a blast. we played a football game against my mom's old high school :o) my aunt is a counselor there, and so she and her husband came to see it, along with my mom and dad, brother and sister, all my grandparents, and another aunt and uncle. sheesh, they must really like marching band. :op my grandmother came back with us and she's staying through my birthday, so that's really cool.

yes, so this layout is boring... but i like it. :o) tomorrow's my birthday!! i'm gonna be 15. yaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

anyway, it's rant time. i'm so sick of people with no tact. i mean, i'm generally teased by the so-called "popular" kids, so i'm used to it. but i can only take so much of people voicing their opinions about me in as blunt a way as possible. it gets to be a real drag when you're having to blow off everything anyone says because 90% of it is crud. anyway, that was my rant interlude. other than that, life is swell. :o) i found out some of my grades:
