harry potter!

last night was awesome. me, kat, julia, melanie, thien-ky, and jenny all made ourselves up some shirts that kat drew and headed to the midnight showing of harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban in imax. after me and the guy next to us bugged the people that worked there long enough, they finally promised to put people in the middle of the lines so that people didn't try to cheat with they opened the doors. i love being the overly paranoid fanboy. :op we got pretty awesome seats, too. there's nothing really to say about the movie, except wow. alfonso cuarón, you're a baller. the whole thing was so gorgeous and well-thought-out. everyone go seeeeeeee it. got home around 3:45 and piddled online until 4:30 when i finally crashed.

update

its summer and im an amorphous nonmotile blob the end

so slightly more activity...

so friday was fun and satuday was okay and sunday sucked.

friday, since the girls were having their girls night out we decided we'd have guys night, which consisted of me, david s., david h., bret, special andy, and leif. went out for dinner at chili's, which was good. then we went to go see the stepford wives at amc, where we were crashed by the girls (kat, heather, lauren). it was pretty rockin'. the movie was awesome, and i wanted to go buy the soundtrack, but apparently they are not putting it out on cd. no idea why.

saturday, mom was working but we went to church just the same, and then ended up going to cafe express for dinner, where i ran into alex and natasha. kind of bothered them in the middle of their date for a minute and then went back to my eating. afterwards, the rest of the fam went to go see harry potter while i drove down to galveston to pick up nana (whee, she's finally strong enough to leave the house!) and bring her back up here to stay with us for a while. she's doing really well and getting around by herself like she used to, but she's still doing some physical therapy from the weakness the heart problems gave her in the hospital.

sunday i got up super early to go to a church retreat that i was supposed to do for confirmation, but never got around to, so i was having to make it up. it was the dumbest dumbest thing ever, and it lasted 12 hours. 12 hours of sitting and discussing the holy!trinity. i mean, it's good material, but it was the most mind-numbing and dumb thing ever. it was kind of dumb, too. also, dumb. so at 6 o'clock i came home and entertained the atkins (family friends) who were supposed to come over and talk about remodeling the house (since they have their own design and construction company). well, one of them decided to stay home, and the other one showed up late. so, basically, they kind of rudely blew us off. and this is after they made us reschedule the whole dinner/movie/house consultation from friday night. and we didn't even talk about the house at all, which is the whole reason i even bothered staying awake. then i got in a fight with my mom because she was trying to make me move off the couch and i was tired and being irrational. i don't get in fights with her very often. anyway, so that day sucked about as much as possible.

i'll write more about this week later.

what color are you?

green

you are a very calm and contemplative person. others are drawn to your peaceful, nurturing nature.

find out your color at quiz me!

who am you?

i'm javert!
though my personal integrity is admirable, i tend to see everything in absolutes, and i don't cope at all well with ambiguities or opposition. i should probably seek therapy for those obsessive-compulsive tendencies.

which les miserables character are you?

ahahaha, wow, it's me exactly.
